Lobby
This place is surrounding by fish pond which you can feed koi fish. Located in the east in Sentral Parking area. The entrance of Monkey Forest is through this lobby area. In this place also providing ticketing and information services as well as to purchase merchandize. Wenara café is also available in the lobby, serves any kind of drinks, coffee and snack.
Central Point
This place is located in the center of the forest, highlighted by a huge Banyan Tree. From this place, we can go to The Holy Spring Temple, to Cremation Temple, and to the Main Temple. There is also a pond for the monkeys playing water or even bathing.
CREMATION TEMPLE (PRAJAPATI TEMPLE)
This temple, situated in the northeast area, is adjacent to the cemetery. Here, Hindus worship the God (Hyang Widhi) in the personification of Brahma Prajapati. The cemetery is temporarily used as a waiting place for the day of the mass cremation, which takes place every 5 years.
HOLY SPRING TEMPLE (BEJI TEMPLE)
Located in the northwest area, this temple is a place where people worship the God (Hyang Widhi) who is personified as the goddess Gangga. It serves as a site of purification before conducting the ceremony (piodalan). Beji Temple is frequently utilized for "Melukat," which involves spiritual and physical cleansing.
MAIN TEMPLE (THE MAIN TEMPLE)
This temple, located in the southwest area, is where people worship the God Hyang Widhi, personified as Shiva, known as "The Recycler or The Transformer."
OPEN STAGE
This place, situated next to the Wana Café, offers Balinese Dance performances every Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Alongside the captivating performances, you can indulge in a variety of drinks, coffee, and snacks at the café. Furthermore, the serene ambiance is enhanced by a nearby fish pond, making the entire area exceptionally peaceful.
FOREST CONSERVATION
A new forest was established in the 1990s to expand the forest due to the increasing population of monkeys. This was done to provide more space for the monkeys to thrive.
