Congratulations to the winners of the Monkey Forest Ubud Photography Awards photo competition.
Monkey Forest Ubud held a photo competition for the public and students with the theme EDUCTION & CONCERVATION as a place to express and a form of appreciation to visitors and photographers who photograph activities in the Monkey Forest area. This competition was welcomed positively by creative people with enthusiasm and totality echoing the charm of Ubud, especially the Monkey Forest tourism area. A total of 147 photographs in the General & Student category have participated through uploads on Instagram social media with the following terms & conditions:
Furthermore, on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10:00 – 15:00 WITA in the meeting room Monkey Forest Ubud, the Photo Competition judging was carried out with Juries:
- Yoga Raharja (Bali Photography Activist),
- I Kadek Raharja (Gianyar Photography Activist),
- Gede Supartha (Head of Gianyar Photography Activists),
- Dewa Putra (Gianyar Photography Activist),
- Komang Adhi Widyarthana (Photographer and Marketing Manager Monkey Forest Ubud), and
- Jury Coordinator Tjandra Hutama (Bali Photography Activist).
Preparation for the initial judging stage was carried out by downloading 147 photos of the competition participants
via the hashtag: #MonkeyForestPhotographyAwards2024
Judging stage 1:
General selected into 31 photos.
Students selected into 16 photos.
Judging stage 2:
General selected into 16 photos.
Students selected into 16 photos.
Final Judging:
Determination of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Runner-up
The winners were contacted via Instagram DM and were then required to send a HiRes file and an ID card for the completeness of the prize administration. As an appreciation for the participants’ work, 8 winners of the photo competition in each category were entitled to cash prizes with a total value of 24 million Rupiah.
